	Thomas SERVAL / Chairman Founder of Baracoda, Thomas served as CEO until 2008, overseeing all Baracoda projects and ensuring the implementation of the company’s strategy with the aim of this becoming a leader in embedded management systems. Thomas has a varied career history. After having gained several diplomas in politics and economics, and accrued considerable academic experience in e-Business, he has helped start-ups and high-tech companies develop their e-business strategies. In addition to his activities with Baracoda, Thomas founded, and is still President of Savoirweb Ltd. (a software company) which was quoted in the top 40 European internet start-ups by IT Capital in November 2000. Today Thomas brings to Baracoda an experience rich in advice, technologies and strategic partnerships.

	Olivier GIROUD / Partner - Media Division Co founder of Baracoda, Olivier served as head of the technical department at Baracoda until 2007, prior to take in charge the launch of Baracoda’s Media division. Olivier is an expert in electronics and numerical and analogue communications, and developed the first uses for the Baracoda solutions (Bluetooth CCD reader prototype, and operational pen barcode scanner prototype “BaracodaPencil”, and later the first IP Radio). Since 2007, Olivier is managing the strategic development of the Media Division. Having studied at the Ecole Polytechnique and ENS Ulm, Olivier obtained his qualifications from the TELECOM Paris. In October 2000, he was attracted by the concept presented to him by Thomas Serval and joined Baracoda. Olivier is responsible for many patents protecting the Baracoda technology. He broadened his understanding of microwave communication technology and of Bluetooth protocol whilst working in Los Angeles on the development and production of an aerial prototype based on photonic bandgap materials.

	Matthieu DELPORTE / Partner - Traceability Division Matthieu joined Baracoda in September 2001, as CFO and board member, to contribute to build the company’s growth. Matthieu today runs the Traceability Division of Baracoda and supervises all corporate, legal, administrative and financial matters. Prior to joining Baracoda, Matthieu was the cofounder and CFO of Savoirweb, a leading Software editor in collaborative solutions. Prior to that, he was a member of the Cabinet of the French Minister of Education. He is a graduate from Sciences Po Paris and ESSEC MBA.


	Marek KOWALEWSKI - VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES Marek has 14 years experience in the IT business, both in software and hardware. He joined Baracoda in early 2004, and was in charge of increasing sales for specific areas of Europe. His achievements led him to the position of EMEA Sales Director, directly in charge of Business Development for Europe, but also managing Baracoda sales force and the Channel in Europe. His tremendous success in that position, reinforcing Baracoda’s distribution network, developing the company VARs ecosystem and wining projects, established Baracoda as a reference for mobile workers in different fields of the market such as transport, healthcare, manufacturing, field services and railway. Marek is now running US and European sales with a special focus on reinforcing Baracoda’s leadership in the Americas, with the help of our strongly established distribution network. Prior to joining Baracoda, Marek was Corporate Sales Director at Umanis for the German and Polish subsidiaries, implementing large Business Intelligence, CRM and ERP systems mainly for banks and telecom operators. He also worked for Philips Morris and Danone both in marketing and Sales and founded the “Paris - Cap Town 4x4 adventure”. British citizen and having lived and studied in several countries, Marek is used to today’s multicultural world of business. He started his scholarship in the UK and holds a Bachelor degree in Sales & Marketing with a specialization in International Business from the”Institut Superieur du Commerce” (ISC) in Paris, France.
