Baracoda won the gold medal during the Rhône Alpes IT Days Trophies of Traceability
During the last edition of Trace.ID on 17th November, Baracoda won the gold medal for Rhônes Alpes IT Days Trophies. The jury was made of supply chain managers and logistics manager in the region.
DualRunners 2D, that is the latest Baracoda 2D barcodes and RFID HF 13.56 MHz reader, seduced the jury. The 2D version of DualRunners is an outstanding performing device on small or even dense 2D barcodes, and it enables a superior reading quality on screens : mobile phones, PDAs, smartphones, BlackBerry, Laptops. Good news for your delivery projects!
Signature and image capture is now possible with Baracoda RoadRunners and DualRunners 2D
Thanks to a simple firmware upgrade your customers can now add this function to their 2D barcode readers.
How does it work?
Image Capture
Click on the ?image capture? button in BaracodaManager (or in the user application if you have integrated Baracoda SDK) then the reader beam turns on. Scan the dedicated baracode then target your picture and press the scanner trigger to take a picture.
Signature Capture
Baracoda provides you with a specific 2D barcode to be placed on your document on the signature position. In BaracodaManager, define the size of the space dedicated to the signature thus the scanner cantake the signature picture and compensate the angle issues.

Software connectivity solution Connect&Scan was dedicated to WinCe Terminals until now. Today it is also available for BlackBerry Smartphones.
