The complete range of Baracoda Bluetooth barcode and RFID scanners is now compatible with Android platform, especially for HTC Legend and Nexus One Smartphones. BaracodaManager is available with Android platform from 2.1 Eclair and 2.2 Froyo versions and above. This middleware offers a wide range of easy and advanced features.

Baracoda Announces Renewal of its operational partnership with Psion Teklogix in Germany
Combined with Psion Teklogix rugged mobile terminals, Baracoda scanners are an ideal solution for every application requiring intensive barcode scanning such as picking, cross docking, picking, transportation or goods in/goods out ... For such environments or when the terminal is fixed (in a car or a truck ...) Baracoda lightweight scanners provide more mobility and comfort to the user.
Marek Kowalewski, Vice President of Sales, declares: "We are strengthening our partnership in Germany today after a long and successful experience with Baracoda and Psion Teklogix in other countries (France, USA, ...). Siemens chooses Baracoda and E-Switch for on-site field services on medical equipment
Accordingly to legal requirements, every spare part and medical device should be traceable throughout its life cycle. The delivery material should be provided with barcodes relative to order references, invoices and serial numbers. The additional mobile application enables the mobile terminal to process the information scanned by the barcode reader ?Baracoda Pencil2?.
The mobile application Moses ? based on the mCompanion Solution from E-Switch - connects via HTTP to SOAP Web service middleware Xrb. The web service then returns received data to the ERP system (SAP 6.2) for further data processing.
